This Diwali, Let No Plate Stay Empty

As homes glow with diyas and families gather around festive meals, many poor and needy people face a very different evening. For someone who has missed a day’s work, an elderly person living alone, or a family struggling to afford groceries, even a simple meal can feel out of reach. This Diwali, Dreamer Trust invites you to share the warmth of your celebration through Annadaan Seva—helping bring nourishing food to people who need it.

A Festival Meal Begins with Someone Who Cares

Imagine preparing for a festival while wondering whether there will be enough food for your children. Imagine watching the neighbourhood celebrate while your own kitchen remains silent. Hunger does not pause for Diwali, and financial hardship can make a joyful occasion feel especially lonely. A meal offered with kindness can ease that burden, giving someone a moment of comfort and the reassurance that they have not been forgotten.

Through this campaign, Dreamer Trust seeks support for Annadaan Seva for poor and needy people. The purpose is simple: to help people facing food insecurity receive a wholesome meal served with care. Your contribution can help turn the spirit of sharing into something tangible—a filled plate, a relieved parent, and a little less uncertainty about the next meal.

Share Your Celebration with Those Facing Hardship

For families dependent on irregular earnings, daily expenses can leave little room for festive preparations. Older people without dependable support may struggle to purchase ingredients or prepare meals. Others may be navigating illness, unemployment, or circumstances that have temporarily placed food beyond their reach. Each person has a different story, but everyone deserves to eat with dignity.

Annadaan is a meaningful way to respond to this everyday need. It allows us to extend our celebrations beyond our homes and include someone whose circumstances may be difficult. Whether you contribute individually or join hands with friends, family members, or colleagues, your support can help make this Diwali more caring and inclusive.

What Your Support Can Help Provide

  • Food ingredients: Support the purchase of staples and other ingredients needed to prepare wholesome meals.
  • Meal preparation: Help meet the practical needs involved in cooking food with attention to cleanliness and care.
  • Serving and distribution: Support the arrangements required to offer meals to poor and needy people respectfully.
  • Shared festive warmth: Help someone experience the comfort of being remembered and included during Diwali.

Let Kindness Become Part of Your Diwali Tradition

Alongside lighting a diya, exchanging sweets, and spending time with loved ones, make space for an act of generosity. You can dedicate your contribution in honour of a loved one, involve your family in the decision to give, or encourage others to support Annadaan Seva. These simple choices can help children and adults alike connect celebration with compassion.

Contribute an amount that feels comfortable for you. Every contribution, together with the support of others, can help meet the practical costs of providing food. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing the campaign can help more people discover an opportunity to participate.

Join Dreamer Trust in Sharing a Meal

The warmth of Diwali grows when we make room for others. A plate of food cannot remove every difficulty someone faces, but it can answer an immediate need with kindness. Together, we can help bring nourishment, comfort, and a sense of belonging to people experiencing hardship this festive season.

This Diwali, share the joy of a full plate. Donate to Dreamer Trust’s Annadaan Seva and help provide meals for poor and needy people.

Frequently Asked Questions

DREAMER TRUST is a government-registered non-profit organization. It started in 2020 during Covid by cooking nutritious meals for slum children, street children, helpless and distressed people, distributing clothes, distributing rations, and standing by vulnerable communities affected by natural calamities.

We serve slum and street children, vulnerable families, elderly and distressed persons, and communities impacted by disasters—prioritizing nutrition, dignity, and fast on-ground response.

In 2020, during the Covid crisis, DREAMER TRUST began community kitchens to provide wholesome meals. The work expanded to ration kits, clothing drives, and rapid relief for calamity-hit neighborhoods.

Donate via our campaign page’s secure “Donate” button. You can choose preset amounts or enter a custom amount. Every contribution directly fuels meals, ration kits, and emergency relief.

We follow government-compliant processes, maintain audited accounts, and share impact updates. Funds are tracked to programs (meals, rations, relief) with transparent reporting for donors.
